Landlord Responsible For Tenant's Burn Injury From Shower Hot Water

Question: My son has 2nd degree burns due to taking a shower and I am living in public housing can I sue them because of his injuries?
Question Detail: He was taking a shower and the water got very hot all of a sudden, I was in the bathroom the whole time with him. I call the housing office when it happen and ask them could they come check and see why my water is getting so hot. They told me it was set to 135 degrees.

It sounds like your hot water was supplied by a central boiler.  That system should have automatic mixing valves which sense changes in water temperature and mix hot and cold water to reach the proper temperature regardless of the fluctuation in water pressure.  Take photographs of the burns now and as the recovery progresses.  Depending on the permanency and severity, you may have a case that will require a lawyer.  For now, follow all medical advice.
